FIRST QUARTERAfter Brett Favre overthrew three consecutive receivers on the first series, Rodney Peete's first-play slant pass to Chris T. Jones was intercepted by Doug Evans. Jones had the ball but Evans wrestled it away as Jones hit the ground. From the Eagles' 14, Edgar Bennett gained 2, Favre found no one open and scrambled for 1 and then he scrambled again on third down and was pushed out of bounds for no gain. Chris Jacke kicked a 29-yard field goal with 12 minutes 35 seconds left.Four plays, 3 yards, 1:46 time of possession. Green Bay 3, Philadelphia 0. Ricky Watters was stripped by Sean Jones and Brian Williams recovered at the Green Bay 43. Bennett gained 11 on a screen pass. Mark Chmura, working free
off motion, beat James Willis down the middle for 20. After a swing pass to William Henderson gained 3, Mike Zordich tackled Dorsey Levens for a loss of 2.
Favre's third-and-9 pass to Robert Brooks was a 25-yard touchdown. Brooks and Antonio Freeman were lined up together on the right side. Brooks delayed,
allowing Freeman to pick cornerback Bobby Taylor. Then Brooks broke free down the sideline and Favre's pass was perfect before safety Brian Dawkins could arrive.
SECOND QUARTERPeete's short pass was batted high into the air by Santana Dotson and George Koonce intercepted for the Packers' ninth take-away in less than five quarters. From the Philadelphia 32, William Fuller tackled Bennett for a loss of 2, Bennett gained 8 on a short pass and Keith Jackson dropped a first-down pass at the 21.Jacke kicked a 44-yard field goal with 14:56 left. Four plays, 6 yards, 1:29. Green Bay 13, Philadelphia 0. Brooks beat Troy Vincent up the sideline and Favre threw a perfect pass for 38 yards. Bennett followed lead blocks by Henderson for gains of 6 and 16 to the
Eagles' 17. After an offside penalty on the Eagles, Henderson blocked Zordich in the hole and Bennett followed for 11. On second and goal Levens ran through an
enormous hole over left guard for a 1-yard touchdown.
After a punt, Brooks gained 33 as he ran past safety Eric Zomalt on another go route. Bennett carried twice inside for 15. On third and 1, tackle
Gary Brown was penalized for a false start. Then Favre, under pressure, attempted to dump the ball off to an unsuspecting Bennett and the flip fell incomplete.
On second and 8, Peete hit Jones for 18 with Tyrone Williams out of position. Dotson sacked Peete but on third and 17 Peete found tight end Jason Dunn
for 18 against a blitz. Eugene Robinson missed the tackle about 12 yards downfield. On the next play, Jones caught a long pass a step ahead of LeRoy Butler.
After 29 yards, Jones lateraled to Irving Fryar, who gained 33 yards to the 1. Watters slashed off left tackle for the touchdown on the next play.
The Packers retaliated quickly. Favre hit Chmura for 11, Jackson for 18 on a third-and-10 scramble against Willis, and Freeman for 21 on a third-and-6
sideline route against Taylor. On the next play, Favre decided to take a shot, firing a pass to Brooks despite tight coverage from Barry Wilburn. Brooks was
running straight down the numbers from the right slot. Wilburn didn't turn back for the ball but Brooks did. He made a juggling catch at the 1, then survived a
crushing hit by Vincent for a 20-yard touchdown.

Hentrich alertly scooped up the ball and fired a pass into a pack of players, where it was batted incomplete. Two plays later, Peete was sacked by Dotson and Reggie White for a safety with 11:06 left.Green Bay 39, Philadelphia 7.
