2014 Packers Draft Choices May 8th - 10th, 2014 |

The greatest needs are:
1. Pass Rusher - opposite Clay Matthews. 2. Inside Linebacker - The run defense has been sorely lacking. 3. Safety - maybe even 2 of them (maybe even the #1 need). 4. Tight End - The chance of Finley coming back is about 20%. 5. Quarterback - Tolzien looks like a keeper, but a 3rd QB is needed if Matt Flynn isn't retained. Ted Thompson historically doesn't draft for need - he really does draft the "Best Available Player".
The Packers received a third-round pick (No. 98 overall) for the loss of wide receiver Greg Jennings

Somewhere in here I expect Thompson to trade down to acquire more picks. Just no way to predict when.
Rd 3b (34/98) is a Compensatory Selection. Rd 5b (36/176) is a Compensatory Selection. |
