Packers Draft Choices

The greatest needs are:
1. Pass Rusher - opposite Clay Matthews.
2. Inside Linebacker - The run defense has been sorely lacking.
3. Safety - maybe even 2 of them (maybe even the #1 need).
4. Tight End - The chance of Finley coming back is about 20%.
5. Quarterback - Tolzien looks like a keeper, but a 3rd QB is needed if Matt Flynn isn't retained.

Ted Thompson historically doesn't draft for need - he really does draft the "Best Available Player".
(see Jordy Nelson - that turned out OK, eh?)

The Packers received a third-round pick (No. 98 overall) for the loss of wide receiver Greg Jennings
and a fifth-round pick (No. 176 overall) for the loss of linebacker Erik Walden.
